Tyler Reddy has been awarded a six month Micheal Smith Foreign Studies Scholarship in Dr. Mark Sansom's lab at Oxford, developing expertise in molecular dynamics simulations. He will be at Oxford from May-Oct, 2010.

Dr. Andrew Roger Receives 2010 Seymour H. Hutner Prize

Dr. Andrew Roger has received the 2010 Seymour H. Hutner Prize from the International Society of Protistologists. This prize , originally founded as the Society of Protozoologists, is awarded annually to an outstanding scientist in the field of Protozoology who is recognized on an international level and is not more 15 years from the Ph.D. or equivalent degree.

B. Fumerton Wins Big in the Pool

Veteran swimmer Bryan Fumerton came out big for the Tigers at the Jack Scholz Memorial AUS swim meet this past weekend. Mr. Fumerton took home three wins in the 100 and 200 freestyle and the 100 backstroke. A fourth-year biochemistry student, he hails from Uxbridge, Ont.
